My Sassy Girl (2001)

Based on a series of true stories posted by Ho-sik Kim on the Internet describing his relationship with his girlfriend. These were later transformed into a best-selling book and the movie follows the book closely. It describes the meeting of Kyun-woo (Cha) and an unnamed girl. Kyun-woo is shamed into assisting the girl because the other passengers mistakenly think she is his girlfriend. Once he helps her, Kyun-woo develops a deep sense of responsibility for her which enables him to tolerate (somehow) the girls abuses.

Bahay Kubo (2007)


In “Bahay Kubo,” Maricel is Eden, a nurturing and headstrong mother to grown-up Marian who is Lily – the eldest of the adopted children. When Eden’s husband Perry (Eric Quizon) mysteriously disappears, Lily becomes a pillar of support. The closeness between Lily and Eden becomes a source of envy of Rose (Shaina Magdayao), the only biological child.

Got 2 Believe (2002)


Wedding coordinator Toni (Claudine), is a girl who believes in true love. At 25, she is considered to be an "old maid" by her married sisters, aunts, and friends. Always the bride's maid, never the bride, Toni has yet to find Mr. Right. On the other hand is Lorenz (Rico), is a wedding photographer who doesn't believe in happy endings. He always catches Toni unaware with her distinctly expressive yet embarrassing moments. To make matters worse, these photos were published, making Toni the renowned "perennial bridesmaid." Lorenzo's problems become worse when his boss offers a boost in his career, so long as he makes a pictoral article on Toni. Toni, who protests against this idea at first finally agrees in exchange for Lorenzo finding her someone worth marrying. Lorenzo and Toni gradually being to fall in love in the process.

F.L.A.M.E.S. The Movie (1997)


F.L.A.M.E.S. was formerly known as a primetime TV series in the Philippines then made it into a movie in 1997. The movie itself made it look similar to the TV show because the movie was divided into two episodes.

Magic Kingdom: Ang Alamat Ng Damortis (1997)


The Kingdom of Damortis was once ruled by the kind-hearted Empress Sofia (Maricel Laxa) who was ordered to be killed by Basilicus (Mark Gil), her brother who has a great desire for the throne. Princess Dahlia (Anne Curtis), heir to the throne elopes with the blind singer Mico (Ticson Uy). Amain (Jun Urbano) and his warrior trainees, Jobert (Jason Salcedo), Samuel (Junell Hernando), and Oman (Janus del Prado) are tasked to protect the princess and save Damortis from the evil forces of Basilicus.

Magic Temple (1996)
